ASCOT TV is an exciting promotional tool in the luxury goods business, turning Royal Ascot into a festival of PR and advertising.
Fronted by Jeff Banks, Ascot TV leads the way with live feeds to a unique and captive audience.
It is shown on big screens across lawns, in bars and in private boxes all over the race course featuring interviews and commentary on who is wearing what.
And it seems everybody is watching.
Fashion legend Banks picked out designer fashionista Sharon Wolter-Ferguson among the crowd on day one (shown above).
But what he didn’t know was that Wolter-Ferguson is soon to launch a website for people wishing to sell those fabulous clothes and accessories they hardly ever wear.
The site is still a guarded secret among close friends.
Great name, excellent concept, fabulous and clever, it will present fashion lovers with a real opportunity to pass on their show-stopping pieces to others and recoup some of their fashion spend.
